Artem and Andrew are among those who made HUGS what we are today. They are the main brains and hands of any operation to help Ukraine during the war. Their history dates back to the Red Cross, where after the war started they carried food and medicine to people under shelling. Now they are on the front lines. Medics who resurrect and rescue wounded soldiers, return them to their families or whoever can, who continue the resistance. These people need your help more than ever to buy equipment and everything they need to continue their activities. Here’s the site with a screenshot of the donation details…. https://shorturl.at/qFY17
Listened to your interview on CBC for the second time this morning. I cannot put into words my admiration for what you and your family and everyone there is doing. We have a young Ukrainian man living with us who came to Ontario in 2021 perhaps he was even someone you helped. We were both the original host family but rather he and my son became friends and we are helping him succeed. He is very conflicted about leaving his homeland but was on 15 when his family got him and a few other boys out as he was living at the Russian border . I will send what I can as I can. Your work is beyond words …..love to all of you risking it all doing what you are doing . Godspeed my friend ❤️
